• Retrofitting the car with additional options, apart from their mechanical assembly, also requires “programming”. Configuration of options such as rear view camera, touchpad is done in the HMI navigation module. It is also worth taking care of the current version of the HMI module firmware (firmware), as well as the latest maps in navigation.

You can check the version of your software yourself using the so-called “hidden menu” that can be accessed by simultaneously pressing the HOME + POWER + MENU key (see pictures below).

The version of your software may be important when updating maps in the navigation – with old software, the installer will first request a firmware update.

Replacing the HMI module, e.g. as a result of its damage, requires assigning the VIN number of the vehicle as well as uploading the vehicle equipment configuration.
